The Mechano Acoustic device is a battery-free system that captures heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, and body orientation in mice. It is able to monitor all of these physiological parameters without the need for bulky tethers due to it being fully implantable. It operates by inductive charging and continuously transmits data via bluetooth.
